Who I am:
A maker
…of art, stories, tarot + oracle cards, poems, and spaces…
I make because I believe creation is a miracle + art (of all kinds) is some of the deepest magic we have.
Creating reminds me that life isn’t static inevitability; it’s dynamic aliveness and unfolding possibility.
It’s how I find my way back to myself, root into power, embody my aliveness, and meet the sacred.
a Magi
I pierce the veil, commune with the divine, call on the ancestors, and contemplate the mysteries.
I’m guided by the aliveness in all things, and Spirit will always be my North Star.
And I believe there is a magic in this world that belongs to us all.
an elder-in-training
My highest aspiration in this lifetime is to become an elder…
…someone who…
…has turned toward life, again + again, to carve a path of being + becoming themselves.
…is rooted in the world as it actually is, in all its magic + mystery, pain + trauma, paradox + complexity.
…refuses to bypass what’s hard, sometimes unbearable, about being human but also refuses to be defeated by it.
…is at home in their body and on this planet.
…is open + available, not rigid + locked in.
…lives with intention, integrity, and grace.
…understands their place in the great circle of things + gives to others with this in mind.
I’m a long way from elderhood, but this intention helps me meet whatever life brings, remember the truths I’ve forgotten, and deepen into the mysteries of aliveness.
My lineage:
The teachers who have most shaped + informed my work:
Karen Hawkwood: archetypal astrology + deep engagement practitioner work
Martha Beck: wayfinding + coaching
Fabeku Fatunmise: deep animist practice
