I want to live in a world where all of us are safe + free + have what we need to thrive — a world where the beauty of our multifaceted humanity is affirmed, valued, welcomed, and celebrated — and I’m committed to creating safe + hospitable spaces in my work for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, national origin, ability, body size, age, or religion.

Systems of oppression — like white supremacy + heterosexism + transphobia + classism (among others) — violate our inherent dignity, seek undermine our shared humanity, and cause harm to us all.

I am committed to acknowledging + addressing these systems of oppression in my work, self, and world -- as well as living in a way that’s reflective of my longing for + commitment to our collective liberation.

If/when I make a mistake or cause harm, I welcome the opportunity to listen, learn, and make amends with the hope + intention of addressing the harm, repairing the relationship, and doing better in the future.  I understand that being called in is an act of love + care, and I am committed to remaining open + curious + responsive when someone is gracious enough to point out a misstep or invite me to do better.
