Maybe it’s been a while since you lost your loved one.
You feel okay some of the time, but lots of days are still really hard. The advice + support you’ve received so far have helped a little but haven’t really addressed your truest questions, deepest doubts, and most swirling + confusing feelings.
You often feel stuck + wonder where you’ll go from here.
Or maybe you recently left your community (a spiritual community, your family of origin, an academic or vocational community).
You’re moving forward with your life, but you find that you’re often still wrestling with feelings of sadness, anger, disappointment, and shame that just won’t go away.
You not only feel the loss of community; you also feel a loss of identity, and there are lots of days when you aren’t quite sure who you are anymore.
Or maybe something really wonderful happened.
You finally worked up the courage to move, make a career change, or have a baby, and you’re happy!
But you’re also sad, grieving some parts of your old life or identity that you miss, and you crave a space to talk honestly about this + receive support.
Whatever the situation, grief is a hard thing.
It’s also a messy + painful + deep + wild + paradoxical + disorienting thing.
Regardless of the form it takes -- whether you’re mourning the loss of a beloved someone or something, a hoped-for possibility, or the self you used to be -- grief shakes, shatters, and levels us like nothing else can.
Maybe in the midst of your own grief, you’re feeling some combination of lost, disoriented, stuck, uncertain, devastated, numb, and broken open -- or just completely jumbled, disconnected, and unsure,
Or wondering how you’ll move through the grief to the other side (or just through the day),
Or struggling to find a way forward (because there’s not much around or within you that feels especially solid or stable right now).
All this makes sense. Grief is a lot. It’s hard.
And our dominant culture isn’t so good with grief. It doesn’t give us the space + support we need. It encourages us to hurry up, get moving, and work through the stages of grief on our own so that we can get back to normal.
But as anyone who’s actually experienced grief knows: grief doesn’t work like this, and there’s no going back to normal.
But the good news is that for all the hard stuff, there’s also immense hope + possibility in grief.
Because grief invites us into a deeper journey: a process of deepening + becoming, of reckoning with who we are now + what life is now in the aftermath of the loss.
And as painful as it is + as shattering as it feels, your grief is a good sign.
Your grief is your soul telling the truth. It’s your heart fully alive, plugged into love + connected to what matters, participating in what makes you human.
Your grief points to the vastness + depth + beauty of YOU.
There is a way to move through grief, create space for healing, make meaning, and find a way forward, and it starts with the magic + power of your biggest, deepest self.
This is what we’ll be exploring + deepening into + moving through in our work together.
“Our time working together has unlocked MAGIC in my life…
One of the most valuable things about our work was the safe space for me to talk about and explore things I wasn’t ready to share with anyone else…
During our time together, I observed myself feeling braver and more grounded, not so easily carried away in downward spirals, even when emotional issues came up…
I now allow myself to be curious and follow desire…and I feel pretty great most days. There's a sense of power. Fulfillment. Curiosity and interest in life. I now understand my life's purpose this way: to blossom and expand, like a plant reaching towards whatever it's drawn to.”
– Rebecca L.
what it is:
Three months of one-to-one coaching support.
A facilitated journey into the Deep Place.
An alive + holy container to heal, create, journey, explore, and answer the call of your grief.
who it’s for:
Folks who want to heal, make meaning, and find a way forward through grief + loss.
More specifically, this work is for you if:
You’ve lost someone or something that mattered to you (a loved one, the future you imagined, a dream, your sense of identity, what you thought was true).
You’re grieving after making a choice that changed your life (ending a relationship, leaving a spiritual community or vocational path, changing careers, moving to a new city, or taking a new life direction). Even though you made this decision yourself (+ it was the right one for you), you’re grieving what you lost, experiencing a wide range of conflicting emotions, and feeling unsure about who you are now + where to go next.
You’re mourning something that others don’t see or acknowledge because your loss isn’t recognized by the world around you, doesn’t align with common understandings of grief, or is ambiguous + hard to explain.
You sense that you’ve crossed a threshold but aren’t sure what comes next, how to navigate the aftermath, or where to go from here.
You’re willing to answer grief’s invitation to explore the depths, engage a process of healing + alchemy, make meaning with whatever raw materials + shattered fragments you have, and step into life in a deeper way.
what we’ll do:
- Create a space of safety + foundation of grounded embodiment to frame our work together + support you in finding relief now.
- Fine-tune your skills for seeing + knowing clearly (by deepening your connection with YOU).
- Tap into the wisdom that lives in the core of your heart + depths of your being + marrow of your bones so that you can turn to yourself for guidance, clarity, and next right steps.
- Practice processing + relating to emotion in a useful way that moves you forward rather than keeps you feeling stuck.
- Cultivate a deep + abiding sense of hope, and an awareness of infinite possibility, even through the hard stuff.
- Make room for what your heart needs + your spirit craves + your soul yearns for.
- Step into the wholeness of the human experience, deepening your capacity to be with the full spectrum of all that life brings.
- Explore ways of weaving creativity + possibility + joy into your life.
- Deepen into your process of becoming who you are now, + who you will choose to be, on the other side of loss.
- Dream big and create pathways to make these dreams a reality (because this work isn’t just about getting through the worst days; it’s also about plugging into the beauty of your dreams + bringing them to life.)
- Make room for mystery, magic, and anything else that emerges from Beyond in + through the grief.
about me:
My call to grief work emerged from my experiences in domestic violence advocacy.
As I sat with survivors in their pain, trauma, and uncertainty, I witnessed the power that comes with holding space for what the world often doesn’t make room for: the unanswered questions, overwhelming feelings, and raw truths.
And I saw the magic, healing, and transformation that comes when we tell the truth, journey into the depths, and reckon with what we find in the shadows.
My vocation is to hold this container for others in all sorts of ways -- to be a guide through the hidden places, a seer into the shadows, and a space-holder for the underworld parts of life -- death + descent, power + desire, grief + rage -- all of which have a lot to give, show, and teach us.
I became a certified life coach along the way, which gave me a whole other set of tools + approaches to support folks in moving through grief in ways that open flow, invite depth, and spark magic.
It’s a deep honor to hold these spaces for grief, walk with folks on the journey, and be a support in these adventures toward healing, way-finding, and meaning-making.

“Rae has a gift of engaging with the flow of the processes and transformations that seek expression, rather than forcing the experience to fit a specific timeline or set of predetermined goals or outcomes. She allowed the change to dance with us.
Our session, combined with actions I’ve taken since, have altered me forever. I find myself living in deeper peace and feeling more comfortable in my own skin than I ever have. Rather than an endpoint, our conversation was a doorway, and when I stepped through that doorway and kept walking, transformation happened and continues to unfold.”
